These are the days that I love what i do. I called Kristin Sweeting on a Monday saying "we have TONS of orchids leftover from Saturday's wedding - can you come over to my house tomorrow?" Without hesitation she said Y E S. I love working with Kristin, not only is she amazingly talented but she's also incredibly uplifting to other #girlbosses (overused phrase but oh well).

Since this last minute shoot was held at my house, I wanted it to truly feel like my style, I went with simple details + touches of modern/ basically incorporating everything i love...

1. a clean color pallet with minimal / modern design

2. gorgeous orchids + interesting paper goods

3. rose + a "proper bagel" brunch spread

4. the lovely velvet soft seating + rentals from 12th Table

5. an intimate gathering at home

The first thing I do early in the creative process is make a "mood board". Below is a little peak into the process - I was drawn to the entire clean lined theme based on these amazing geometric glass cups from West Elm, I use them everyday and L O V E them.
